• We use solid cedar for all the components of the picture frame fence.  For the others we will offer you options to what will best suit your situation--we use fir, semi-treated outdoor wood, and solid cedar.  All of our posts are pressure treated 4x4, 5x5 or 6x6 posts. 
  
• We use galvanized brackets to insure that your fence will remain sturdy for a long time. 
• We use high quality coated screws so that they won't bleed and produce gray streaks over time. 
  
• We use a full bag of concrete to reinforce each post.

Cedar Picture Frame Fences

Picture frame fences are chosen often because of their beauty and privacy.  They are ideal for areas where they will be exposed on both sides as no side compromises the beauty of the fence.  The addition of post caps adds a stateliness and class to the fence.  

We build two types of cedar picture frame fence--a classic picture frame fence and an elegant picture frame fence.  Check out the pictures below to see the differences. 

Simple Cedar Fence

We construct simple cedar fences that are highly cost effective and long lasting.  We use the highest quality materials to construct a fence that will last a long time. For a classier look a cap can be added like in this photo below. 

Semi-Privacy Fence

The classic good neighbor fence is designed to look good from both sides while providing a semi private environment. The fencing battens are attached to the stringers alternating on each side so that the fence looks good on both sides and doesn't provide quite such formidable privacy.  

Double Batten Cedar Fence

The double batten fence is a combination of the Simple Cedar Fence and the Semi-Privacy Fence for more privacy.  Here the fence boards are staggered on one side of the stringers to provide the maximum privacy even when the boards shrink a little.  

Lattice Top Fence

This fence is often a beautiful complement to a garden or trellis.  The bottom of it is normally done in the simple cedar style.
